Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Core HR Operations & Central Governance

  • Take complete ownership of central HR Operations across the entire employee lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding).
  • Build, standardize, and maintain robust SOPs and HR policy frameworks to ensure compliance and operational consistency.
  • Front-end key stakeholder queries and operational escalations with strong presentation and communication skills.



2. Payroll & Taxation Management

  • End-to-end management and execution of payroll, statutory compliance, tax computation, and filing.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in salary processing, query resolution, audit management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain strict internal controls, data privacy, and governance across all payroll operations.



3. Compensation, ESOPs & Analytics

  • Perform compensation benchmarking using industry standards and market data to align internal salary structures.
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the ESOP Administration System.
  • Leverage Advanced Excel to build workforce dashboards, HR analytics reports, and actionable insights for business leadership.



4. HR Technology, Automation & AI Projects

  • Drive end-to-end implementation and enhancement of HRMS platforms and workflow automation systems.
  • Lead special technology projects in collaboration with leadership, including building the organizational Intranet ecosystem and evaluating AI applications for HR efficiency.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and digitize manual workflows to build a scalable HR tech infrastructure.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 10-12 years of hands-on experience in HR Operations, Payroll, Compensation, and HR Technology implementation.
  • Education: Full-time MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent discipline.
  • Payroll & Tax Expertise: In-depth working knowledge of Indian payroll systems, income tax computation, Provident Fund (PF), ESI, LWF, Gratuity, and statutory compliance.
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in Advanced Excel (formulas, data modeling, reporting) and hands-on experience with HRMS implementations (e.g., Darwinbox, uKnowva, Workday, SuccessFactors, or SAP).
  • Compensation & ESOPs: Demonstrated exposure to compensation benchmarking frameworks and ESOP administration software.
  • HR Automation & Innovation: Knowledge of AI tools in HR, workflow automation, and digital portal/intranet management.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication, presentability, and problem-solving skills to manage senior stakeholders and business leaders effectively.
