Job Description

* Operate, improve, and maintain the enterprise Kubernetes platform across AWS (EKS), Azure (AKS), and on-prem environments.

* Implement automation and infrastructure changes using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and manage CI/CD/GitOps workflows with GitLab and Argo CD.

* Support application teams with onboarding, deployments, troubleshooting, and daily platform operations.

* Manage and optimize core platform components including networking (CNI), storage (CSI), ingress (Traefik, HAProxy, ALB), service discovery, and DNS.

* Ensure platform reliability, performance, and security through cluster hardening, RBAC, network policies, image scanning, and compliance controls.

* Troubleshoot complex issues across Kubernetes, Linux, networking, storage, and containers, leading incident response and root-cause analysis.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer should have:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

* 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Kubernetes in production, including managed services (AKS/EKS) and on-prem platforms.

* Strong skills in IaC (Terraform, Ansible), container tooling (Helm/Kustomize), and scripting (Python/Bash).

* Experience with GitOps (Argo CD) and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

* Proficiency with ingress/load-balancing technologies such as Traefik, HAProxy, or equivalents.

* Strong Linux, container runtime (Docker/Containerd), and distributed systems troubleshooting expertise.

* Relevant certifications (CKA/CKAD/CKS) are a plus, along with strong English communication skills and a team-oriented, ownership-driven mindset.
