Job Description

  • Lead procurement of additives, resins, fillers, and speciality chemicals.
  • Source materials globally through strategic and spot-buy contracts.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and long-term supplier agreements.
  • Develop commodity strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supply security.
  • Drive supplier performance through audits, evaluations, and scorecards.
  • Partner with planning, technical, sales, and marketing teams on sourcing decisions.
  • Support new product development through supplier selection and cost optimization.
  • Track procurement KPIs, cost savings, supplier base optimization, and contract compliance.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5-10 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience procuring chemicals, raw materials, or industrial commodities.
  • Proven expertise in supplier negotiations and contract management.
  • Strong understanding of global sourcing and commodity management.
  • Hands-on experience working with ERP/MRP systems; SAP preferred.
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing setup.
