This role leads regional sales for a fast‑growing cable accessories business covering lugs, glands, joints, terminations, and new MV/LV products. The incumbent will drive dealer‑network growth, market creation, product approvals, and revenue expansion across the western region.

Our client is a large and established Indian electricals manufacturer with a strong presence across cables, switchgear, transformers, and cable accessories. With a business of over INR 500 Crores in the accessories vertical, the company is expanding its footprint through a refreshed structure and significant new product introductions in the accessories segment.

Job Description

  • Lead regional sales for LV/MV cable accessories including lugs, glands, joints, and terminations.
  • Grow business across MH, Goa, MP, and Gujarat with full P&L responsibility for the 100 CR western region.
  • Drive new product launches and ensure strong adoption in the dealer and distributor ecosystem.
  • Build and scale the regional dealer network to support primary and secondary sales.
  • Engage with utilities, EPC contractors, OEMs, industrial clients, and consultants to secure product approvals.
  • Map the market across 11kV and 33kV applications and expand penetration for the new cable accessories portfolio.
  • Conduct product demos, technical sessions, and influencer engagement for demand creation.
  • Track competition (Obo, Lab Cabel, Crompton Greaves, Schneider, L&T) and provide market intelligence to central teams.
  • Ensure disciplined sales execution, collections, and achievement of revenue and margin targets.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with the National Sales Head and internal technical/product teams.
  • Manage and mentor a small regional team (currently 1 direct report).

The Successful Applicant

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
  • 8-15 years of experience in electrical products-preferably cable accessories, cables, switchgear, or related sectors.
  • Strong exposure to 11kV/33kV systems and MV/LV installation environments.
  • Proven success in managing dealer/distributor networks in electrical product sales.
  • Experience working with utilities, EPCs, OEMs, and industrial customers.
  • Exposure to product launches and new‑business creation preferred.
  • Ability to independently drive a region and manage revenue, approvals, and technical sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
