Our client is a growing renewable energy and infrastructure organisation delivering large-scale EPC projects across emerging markets. Operating within a complex international project environment, the business manages contractor-led infrastructure developments and works with utilities, development finance institutions, and government stakeholders while maintaining strong financial governance and project controls.

Job Description

  • Own end-to-end project accounting for EPC infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
  • Manage project cost tracking, cash flow monitoring, financial reporting, and project profitability analysis.
  • Prepare and reconcile employer invoices, payment certificates, collections, advances, and retentions.
  • Oversee supplier payments, procurement finance processes, and payment schedules.
  • Monitor project budgets, actual costs, commitments, and forecasted spend, including estimate-at-completion and cost-to-complete reporting.
  • Support the finance lead with cash management, working capital oversight, and multi-currency transactions.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L reviews, reconciliations, and rolling cash flow forecasts.
  • Coordinate with project teams, clients, suppliers, auditors, and compliance providers to maintain financial controls and accurate reporting.
  • Support internal and external audits, including projects funded by organisations such as development finance institutions.
  • Maintain robust financial documentation, compliance records, and audit-ready processes.
  • Contribute to procurement finance, contract administration, and financial risk management across projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified CA (ICAI) or CMA with 4-10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in EPC, infrastructure, construction, energy, or project-based environments.
  • Strong project accounting experience covering project reporting, reconciliation, cost control, and cash flow management.
  • Strong technical accounting, management reporting, and financial controls expertise.
  • Experience supporting audits and working within highly governed project environments.
  • Excellent Excel skills and ability to operate independently without a large support team.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage clients, suppliers, auditors, and project stakeholders.
