Job Description

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies across raw materials, packaging, contract manufacturing, and indirect categories.
  • Lead supplier identification, evaluation, onboarding, and relationship management.
  • Drive commercial negotiations covering pricing, contracts, payment terms, and service levels.
  • Establish strong supplier governance frameworks and performance review mechanisms.
  • Identify alternate sourcing opportunities and implement cost optimization initiatives.
  • Partner closely with R&D, NPD, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Quality teams.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and commodity movements to improve sourcing decisions.
  • Drive procurement process improvements, vendor compliance, and procurement transformation programs.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of procurement and strategic sourcing experience.
  • Experience within FMCG, Personal Care, Cosmetics, or Consumer Goods sectors.
  • Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and commercial negotiations.
  • Proven track record in supplier development, cost optimization, and procurement transformation initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and commercial acumen.
  • Experience working in manufacturing-led environments with multiple supplier categories.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata for a full-time office-based role.
