The Head Procurement based out of Pune is responsible to lead the procurement function for clean energy solutions & battery pack manufacturing. This person will ensure smooth sourcing, supplier management, and cost-effective procurement strategies
  • 15+ years in Procurement of electrical/mechanical/EV/battery components
  • Component sourcing, vendor management & negotiation

A growing manufacturer of clean energy solutions, specializing in lithium-ion battery packs and Battery Management Systems (BMS) for the EV and energy storage sector

Job Description

  • Manage the procurement process for batteries, systems and components
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure cost efficiency
  • Monitor inventory levels and support production schedules
  • Work with internal teams to meet procurement needs
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Strong experience in procurement and supply chain management
  • Understanding of sourcing for EV/battery/electrical components or industrial products
  • Good negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Confidence using procurement tools and software
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams effectively
