Job Description

  • Lead strategic sourcing across mechanical, electrical, electronics, and raw material categories
  • Drive cost optimisation through negotiations, value engineering, and localisation strategies
  • Manage supplier relationships, including development, performance tracking, and capability building
  • Ensure supply continuity and proactively manage procurement risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, engineering, and finance
  • Implement procurement governance, compliance, and SAP-based process excellence
  • Optimise inventory levels and manage working capital efficiently
  • Align procurement strategy with plant leadership and organisational goals

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Head (Manufacturing) should have:

  • 18-22 years of experience in procurement leadership roles within multinational environments (HVAC, consumer durables, white goods, or automotive components)
  • Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier development, and contract negotiation
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and advanced Excel
  • Proven track record in cost reduction, localisation, and supply risk management
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Likely to have an engineering degree or relevant technical qualification
