An established manufacturer is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to lead Process Engineering and Quality across resin manufacturing operations at its facility. The role combines quality management, process optimisation, compliance, customer quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and manufacturing consistency.

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established specialty chemicals and resins manufacturer serving industrial markets with a diverse portfolio of synthetic resin products.

Job Description

    • Lead quality assurance, quality control, and process engineering initiatives across resin manufacturing operations.
    • Define and control raw material, in-process, and finished goods specifications covering viscosity, acid value, solids, colour, and related parameters.
    • Manage QMS requirements, ISO audits, supplier qualification programs, laboratory calibration, and incoming quality systems.
    • Drive customer complaint investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.
    • Monitor and improve critical process parameters across alkyd, acrylic, epoxy, polyester, UF, and MF resin manufacturing.
    • Troubleshoot off-spec batches, yield losses, viscosity variation, gelation issues, and process deviations.
    • Apply Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, Cp/Cpk, and statistical tools to improve process capability and reduce variability.
    • Partner with Production, R&D, Maintenance, Purchase, and Commercial teams to support scale-up and new product implementation.
    • Ensure compliance with EHS requirements, hazardous chemical handling protocols, and HAZOP recommendations.
    • Lead and develop QC, QA, and process teams while reporting key operational and quality KPIs.



The Successful Applicant

  • B.Tech in Chemical, Polymer, or Paint Technology; M.Tech or M.Sc. Polymer preferred.
  • 12 to 18 years of experience in synthetic resin manufacturing with at least 5 years managing QC, QA, or process teams.
  • Strong expertise across various types of resin chemistries.
  • Hands-on knowledge of FTIR, GC, GPC, DSC, viscometers, titrators, and Karl Fischer analysis.
