This role leads Production Planning & Control for a large manufacturing setup, translating demand into executable production plans. The role ensures material readiness, capacity alignment, and inventory optimisation while coordinating closely with production, supply chain, and commercial teams. The PPC Head plays a key role in meeting delivery commitments at optimal cost.

Job Description

  • Convert demand forecasts into monthly, weekly, and daily production plans
  • Develop line‑wise and model‑wise production schedules
  • Ensure material availability by coordinating with purchase, stores, and vendors
  • Balance demand against capacity, manpower, and machine availability
  • Monitor plan vs actual production and drive corrective actions
  • Control inventory levels, WIP, and finished goods
  • Coordinate with production to support smooth shop‑floor execution

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Graduate/Engineer with relevant experience in PPC or planning roles
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chains
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems and data‑driven planning
  • Ability to balance cost, delivery, and inventory objectives
  • Strong cross‑functional coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Structured thinker with high ownership and execution discipline
