An exciting opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader to head a large food processing facility and drive operational excellence across production, quality, supply chain, EHS, and people management. The role will be responsible for maximizing plant performance, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and capacity utilization while supporting business growth initiatives.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for the plant.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, food safety, and EHS requirements.
  • Drive quality standards and adherence to manufacturing best practices.
  • Improve capacity utilization, OEE, yield, line efficiency, and productivity metrics.
  • Manage plant budgets, capital expenditure, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure efficient production planning and dispatch execution.
  • Lead plant modernization, continuous improvement, and infrastructure projects.
  • Build a high-performance culture and maintain positive employee and labour relations

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Graduate in Engineering or Food Technology; management qualification preferred.
  • 18-20 years of manufacturing experience with at least 8-10 years within the FMCG industry, preferably snacks or namkeen categories.
  • Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, quality systems, and plant operations.
  • Proven expertise in OEE, yield improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost management.
  • Experience managing large teams, labour relations, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership, accountability, agility, and decision-making capability
