This role is responsible for leading end-to-end manufacturing operations of a major continuous-process manufacturing facility, covering production, quality, maintenance, utilities, safety, industrial relations, and cost management. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to improve plant performance, drive operational excellence, and support strategic growth initiatives

Job Description

  • Lead overall plant operations, ensuring delivery of production, quality, and customer service targets.
  • Manage continuous process manufacturing systems, including kiln and furnace-based operations.
  • Drive TPM, Lean Manufacturing, OEE improvement, and productivity enhancement programmes.
  • Oversee maintenance, engineering, utilities, supply chain, manufacturing, and EHS functions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and quality standards.
  • Lead workforce management initiatives, including industrial relations and union engagement.
  • Develop leadership capability and foster a high-performance culture throughout the plant.
  • Collaborate with senior management on strategic projects, capacity expansion, and operational transformation initiative



The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in managing manufacturing operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Confidence in handling production targets and deadlines.
  • Good understanding of safety and compliance standards.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
