Job Description

  • Lead and maintain a strong regulatory compliance framework aligned with RBI and other non‑AML regulatory requirements, covering outsourcing, merchant onboarding, information security, and regulatory reporting.
  • Monitor evolving regulatory guidelines in partnership with APAC Regulatory Counsel and drive cross‑functional implementation of necessary compliance measures.
  • Oversee compliance obligations specific to India‑licensed Payment Aggregators and Payment Collection Banks, ensuring robust governance of outsourcing arrangements.
  • Act as the primary liaison with RBI and other regulators, ensuring accurate, timely submission of mandated reports and effective regulatory engagement.
  • Manage the customer grievance function, handle complex escalations, ensure fair resolutions, and fulfil responsibilities as the appointed Nodal Officer.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Nodal Officer should have:

  • A candidate with an LLB is preferred, though applicants with other relevant qualifications will also be considered.
  • Someone with strong knowledge of India's regulatory landscape and the ability to operationalise compliance requirements effectively
  • A proactive collaborator who works seamlessly with cross‑functional teams to drive compliance initiatives.
  • An organised professional who ensures accuracy and timeliness in all regulatory submissions.
  • An effective communicator who can engage clearly with regulators, senior leaders, and stakeholders.
