A company in the airline travel sector located in Gurgaon.

Job Description

Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including digital/IT agreements, financing and leasing arrangements, loan documentation, and procurement contracts.

Provide strategic legal advice to senior leadership and business teams on transactions, risk assessment, and commercial decision-making.

Lead and manage end-to-end transactional matters, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across procurement, finance, operations, and commercial teams as a trusted legal advisor.

Support new business initiatives while ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Liaise with external counsel for legal opinions, transaction support, and specialized advisory matters.

Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization.Key Competencies

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

LL.B./LL.M. from a reputed university.

10-16 years of post-qualification experience in transactional law, preferably with a leading law firm and/or in-house legal team.

Strong experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of complex commercial contracts.

Sound commercial acumen with the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions.

Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple organizational levels.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts.Prior in-house legal experience within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Exposure to aviation, transportation, or infrastructure sectors.

Knowledge of industry-specific regulatory and compliance frameworks.
