This MuleSoft Platform Engineer role focuses on managing and supporting enterprise API platforms with strong emphasis on DevOps (Kubernetes, CI/CD), Python automation, Azure Cloud, GitHub/GitHub Actions, and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (RTF, Runtime Manager, Flex Gateway). While basic MuleSoft knowledge is required, the primary preference is for candidates with solid DevOps and Python expertise, as MuleSoft-specific skills can be developed through training.
  • Own and scale enterprise MuleSoft platforms powering critical APIs.
  • Work with RTF, Kubernetes & Azure in a high-growth tech environment.

Job Description

  • Administer and support the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform across environments.
  • Monitor platform health, availability, and API performance against SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve MuleSoft, infrastructure, and deployment issues.
  • Manage Runtime Fabric (RTF) and Flex Gateway deployments and upgrades.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated releases.
  • Develop Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational tasks.
  • Support Kubernetes workloads, analyze logs, and investigate service failures.
  • Manage GitHub repositories and enforce version control best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive platform stability and scalability.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5-10 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or API Support.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and operational tasks.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
  • Working knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Runtime Manager, RTF, and Flex Gateway.
  • Expertise in production support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments and system operations.
  • Experience with monitoring and log analysis tools such as Splunk.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
