Our client is one of India's largest metal manufacturing companies, operating multiple advanced automated manufacturing units with an integrated production ecosystem. With in-house surface finishing capabilities, including anodising and powder coating, the organisation is focused on delivering high-quality engineered products.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across multiple plants, overseeing Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Dispatch, and Administration.
  • Drive manufacturing strategy, operational excellence, cost optimisation, productivity, and profitability across the organization.
  • Build robust manufacturing systems covering planning, quality, maintenance, engineering, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead capacity expansion, asset utilisation, energy optimisation, and process improvement initiatives to improve plant performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, commercial, and leadership teams to ensure customer delivery, quality, and business objectives are achieved.
  • Develop high-performing manufacturing leaders while driving a culture of safety, accountability, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), with an MBA being an added advantage, and bring 20+ years of manufacturing leadership experience within Automotive Tier 1, metal manufacturing, or other large-scale manufacturing environments. The individual should have led multiple manufacturing plants with responsibility for production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and operational excellence while managing large teams and driving plant profitability. Strong exposure to IATF, ISO, Lean Manufacturing, budgeting, strategic planning, and multi-site leadership is essential. Candidates should be comfortable with a 6-day work week.
