Job Description

  • Lead overall plant operations to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
  • Drive production planning, manpower management, and capacity optimization to ensure seamless manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with Sales, PPC, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams to align production schedules with customer demand.
  • Ensure adherence to customer delivery requirements, inventory targets, and operational KPIs.
  • Lead preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and asset utilization programs to maximize plant uptime.
  • Develop and execute CAPEX plans, infrastructure upgrades, and process automation initiatives to support future growth.
  • Champion compliance with statutory regulations, quality systems, environmental standards, and workplace safety practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and OEE enhancement programs.
  • Monitor plant profitability through cost optimization, inventory control, and productivity improvement projects.
  • Build and lead high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and employee engagement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering; MBA or additional management qualification preferred.
  • 15+ years of manufacturing experience with significant exposure to plant leadership and large-scale operations management.
  • Proven track record of leading production, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and continuous improvement functions.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, OEE, APQP, and operational excellence methodologies.
  • Experience handling CAPEX planning, cost optimization, inventory management, and customer-facing operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
  • Exposure to automotive, auto-component, electrical, electronics manufacturing, industrial products, or similar process-driven industries is preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills, and ability to deliver business outcomes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
