Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, service agreements, NDAs, and partnership arrangements.
  • Manage and support intellectual property matters, with a primary focus on trademarks, including filings, renewals, and coordination with advisors.
  • Drive adoption and implementation of legal automation tools and contract lifecycle management systems to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders across business, operations, product, and technology teams to deliver practical, solution-oriented legal advice.
  • Maintain, update, and improve standard contract templates, playbooks, and internal legal processes.
  • Support the Head of Legal on ongoing legal initiatives, compliance programs, and other strategic or ad hoc matters.
  • Liaise with external counsel and advisors to ensure effective, timely, and cost-efficient outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

  • LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized institution.
  • 5-8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house exposure.
  • Strong experience in commercial contracting and intellectual property (especially trademarks).
  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide business-oriented, pragmatic legal advice.
