Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including franchise, distribution, supply, licensing, partnership, and marketing contracts.
  • Serve as a trusted legal advisor to business stakeholders on commercial, regulatory, compliance, employment, privacy, consumer protection, and competition law matters.
  • Advise on business initiatives, strategic partnerships, market expansion opportunities, and regulatory requirements to support commercial growth.
  • Manage pre-litigation matters and legal disputes, including notices, arbitrations, court proceedings, and external counsel coordination.
  • Conduct legal research and provide practical, risk-balanced guidance to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure effective contract management processes, including adoption and ongoing use of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments, assess business impact, and drive compliance through policy and process enhancements.

The Successful Applicant

An ideal candidate would:

  • Be a qualified lawyer with 10-14 yrs of experience
  • Experience in manufacturing is a must
  • Strong understanding of contract law and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and must have experience dealing with global stakeholders
