Job Description

  • Provide expert legal support on financing transactions (bilateral, syndicated loans, project finance and bonds) including drafting & negotiation complex agreements across jurisdictions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate financial agreements, including loan facilities, guarantees, and treasury-related contracts.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings supporting or leading negotiations with banks, institutional partners and other stakeholders.
  • Advise on & manage legal aspects of disputes and settlement strategies when necessary
  • Monitor legal and regulatory development relevant top financing & treasury activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues and implement strategic initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful applicant should have:

  • A degree in Law from a recognised institution with a strong academic record.
  • Have experience of working in the Banking & Finance team at a Tier 1 Law Firm or at a Global Financial Institution
  • Proven expertise in finance, treasury, and corporate legal matters, particularly within the industrial or manufacturing sectors.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a global, fast-paced environment.
