Job Description

  • Provide legal advice and support on regulatory compliance and governance matters across the organisation.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Oversee litigation and liaise with external legal counsel as required.
  • Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential legal risks.
  • Represent the organisation in legal proceedings and negotiations.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to address legal queries and concerns.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the healthcare industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head Legal should have:

  • A degree in law from a recognised institution.
  • Proven expertise in corporate legal matters, including contracts and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations and laws relevant to the healthcare industry.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in managing litigation and working with external legal counsel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders.
