Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Provide legal advice and support to internal teams on regulatory compliance and legal risks.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the technology and telecoms industry.
  • Manage legal disputes and coordinate with external counsel as needed.
  • Support the company in intellectual property matters, including trademarks and patents.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and company policies.
  • Conduct legal research and provide updates to stakeholders on relevant legal developments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential legal risks.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Counsel should have:

  • A degree in Law from a recognized institution with at-least 15 years of experience
  • Expertise in corporate, commercial, and contract law.
  • Knowledge of legal frameworks in the technology and telecoms industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
