A company in the FMCG industry focusing on cosmetics , based in Hyderabad.

Job Description

This is a long-term assignment (minimum 3 years) on Michael Page payroll, deployed to the client.Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, improve, and maintain enterprise Kubernetes platforms across AWS (EKS), Azure (AKS), and on-premises environments.
  • Implement automation and infrastructure changes using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and manage CI/CD and GitOps workflows with GitLab and Argo CD.
  • Support application teams with onboarding, deployments, troubleshooting, and day-to-day platform operations.
  • Manage and optimize platform components, including CNI networking, CSI storage, Ingress Controllers (Traefik, HAProxy, ALB), service discovery, and DNS.
  • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, performance, and security through cluster hardening, RBAC, network policies, image scanning, and compliance controls.
  • Lead complex troubleshooting across Kubernetes, Linux, networking, storage, containers, and distributed systems.
  • Drive incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), problem management, and continuous platform improvements.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9+ years of IT experience with extensive hands-on Kubernetes administration in production environments.
  • Strong experience with AKS, EKS, and on-prem Kubernetes platforms.
  • Expertise in Terraform, Ansible, Helm/Kustomize, Python/Bash scripting, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Hands-on experience with GitOps (Argo CD) and GitLab CI/CD.
  • Strong knowledge of Traefik, HAProxy, ALB, or similar ingress/load-balancing technologies.
  • Deep understanding of Linux, Docker/Containerd, networking, storage, and distributed systems troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
  • CKA, CKAD, or CKS certifications are highly preferred.



He / She can ensure a 4-shift coverage: Morning (6am-3:30pm) / Night (9:30pm-7am) / General (10:30am-7:30pm) / Afternoon (1pm-10:30pm).
