As an L2 DBA, you'll manage and maintain databases, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. You'll also handle troubleshooting and provide support for database-related issues.

About Our Client

A company in the FMCG industry specialising in cosmetics and toiletries.

Job Description



· Microsoft SQL Server: backup/restore, user management, basic performance analysis.

· MySQL: replication monitoring and basic performance tuning.

· Azure DbaaS (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL): provisioning, monitoring, and scaling.

· IIS, Apache, and Tomcat: installation, configuration, log analysis, and SSL setup.

· SharePoint (2016/2019/Online): site management, access configuration, and basic troubleshooting.

· Familiarity with Windows and Linux server administration.

· Experience with PowerShell or Shell scripting.

· Understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, and certificate management.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in database administration and support.
  • Knowledge of database security and optimisation.
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort working with database management systems.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
