Job Description

  • Manage and grow strategic key accounts and distributor relationships across the West region and broader PAN India opportunities.
  • Deliver sales targets while maximising customer engagement, market penetration, and brand exposure.
  • Drive new business acquisition by identifying, developing, and converting prospective customers and channel partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across customer organisations.
  • Develop new customers, products, and market segments to increase volumes, margins, and overall profitability.
  • Identify market opportunities through industry mapping and customer needs analysis.
  • Collaborate with marketing, quality, supply chain, and R&D teams to deliver customised solutions and support product development initiatives.
  • Monitor market dynamics, customer trends, and competitor activity, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Execute account strategies to protect, grow, and diversify revenue streams from key customers.
  • Support a high-growth business strategy targeting significant volume expansion over the next three years.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in B2B sales within food ingredients, chocolate, compounds, commodities, or specialty food sectors.
  • Mandatory experience in bakery food ingredients sales.
  • Proven track record managing key accounts, distributors, and institutional customers.
  • Exposure to HORECA, QSR, or institutional sales environments would be advantageous.
  • Strong business development, sales planning, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify market opportunities and drive profitable growth.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
  • Experience working with CRM and ERP systems such as Salesforce and SAP.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and capable of operating in a highly competitive market environment.
  • Fluent in English and at least one regional language.
