Our Client is a leading global venture capital fund based in Bangalore.

Job Description

As an Investment Associate, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to -

Deal Sourcing & Market Research

  • Identify emerging startups, sectors, and investment trends
  • Build and maintain relationships with founders, accelerators, incubators, and ecosystem participants
  • Conduct industry mapping and competitive landscape analysis



Investment Evaluation

  • Analyse startup business models, unit economics, financial statements, and growth metrics
  • Conduct market sizing, customer analysis, and competitive bench-marking
  • Support due diligence processes including commercial, financial, operational, and legal reviews
  • Prepare investment memos, screening notes, and presentations for internal investment committees



Portfolio Support

  • Monitor portfolio company performance against KPIs and investment theses
  • Support portfolio reporting and valuation exercises
  • Assist portfolio companies with market research, fundraising preparation, and strategic initiatives
  • Participate in board meeting preparation and portfolio reviews

The Successful Applicant

A successful Investment Associate should have:

  • Educational Qualification - Should have completed their education from a Tier-1 institute
  • Experience Required - 3 to 6 years of experience of working in an AI focused role (Investment, Product, Strategy)
  • Sector exposure - AI exposure is mandatory
  • Exposure to AI/SaaS and related sectors is Mandatory
