Job Description

  • Build and maintain three-statement financial models of the companies within coverage
  • Develop and prosecute investment ideas with APMs, from hypothesis to investment recommendation
  • Refresh models with quarterly results, guidance, M&A, and capital actions
  • Review earnings‑call & expert‑call transcripts to flag KPIs and fundamentals‑driving metrics
  • Curate and maintain a knowledge base (transcripts, interviews, channel checks)
  • Prepare earnings previews / "cheat sheets" with key debates and metrics to monitor
  • Maintain industry data sets (TAM, market share, commodity inputs, macro/pricing trackers)
  • Conduct an overnight news & filing sweep and deliver a pre‑market digest
  • Codify step‑by‑step playbooks (SOPs) for model refreshes, screen runs, data pulls

The Successful Applicant

* Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
* 3-6 years in equity research, investment banking, or a buy‑side analyst seat
* Expert‑level Excel (modeling, Power Query) and solid accounting intuition
* Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, Cap IQ, or similar data terminals
* Clear written English; able to distil complex information into concise bullet points
* (Optional) Working knowledge of Python or VBA for data wrangling and automation
* (Optional) Experience building data pipelines (SQL/Snowflake) or dashboards (Power BI/Tableau)
* (Optional) Exposure to alternative‑data sources (app‑rank, web‑traffic, sensor data
