Job Description

Reporting to the Head - Projects, you will:

  • Establish and lead the Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Operational Excellence function.
  • Develop and implement an Integrated Management System aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Define quality frameworks, governance structures, KPIs, and management review processes.
  • Lead supplier quality programs including vendor qualification, audits, inspections, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Drive field quality management across civil, mechanical, electrical, and SCADA project activities.
  • Oversee NCR management, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Implement Lean Six Sigma initiatives focused on COPQ reduction, productivity enhancement, and process optimization.
  • Establish quality dashboards, analytics, benchmarking frameworks, and digital quality systems.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and O&M teams to embed quality-by-design principles.
  • Represent the organization during customer, lender, regulatory, and certification audits.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing quality organization across multiple projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Brings 15+ years of experience in QAQC and Operational Excellence within renewable energy, power, or EPC projects.
  • Proven experience establishing quality functions across system, supplier, and field quality.
  • Deep expertise in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, APQP, PPAP, FAT, ITP, NCR management, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies including solar, wind, BESS, or green hydrogen.
  • Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Lead Auditor, or equivalent quality certifications preferred.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and change transformation capabilities.
