Job Description

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Developing and implementing quality assurance strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Leading and managing quality control processes across all stages of production
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues
  • Monitoring and analyzing quality metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Overseeing supplier quality assurance and establishing strong relationships with vendors.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and legal requirements in manufacturing
  • Training and mentoring team members to uphold quality standards and practices
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections to maintain consistency in quality performance

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Quality should have:

  • A degree in engineering
  • Proven experience in handling manufacturing, supplier, and new product quality within the consumer durables industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate data and drive process improvements.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
