The incumbent will play a critical role in shaping quality strategy and operational excellence across the organization.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute the enterprise-wide quality strategy across manufacturing operations and the supplier network.
  • Lead Manufacturing Quality, Supplier Quality, Customer Quality, and Warranty functions.
  • Drive reduction in defects, warranty claims, and overall cost of poor quality.
  • Strengthen quality management systems, compliance frameworks, and audit processes.
  • Champion root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive quality programs.
  • Partner with Engineering, R&D, Procurement, and Operations teams to improve product and process quality.
  • Lead supplier development initiatives and vendor quality improvement programs.
  • Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing quality leadership teams.
  • Establish governance mechanisms and quality performance reviews to ensure sustained improvements.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 18+ years of progressive experience in Quality leadership within Automotive, Auto Components, Engineering, Mobility, or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Deep expertise in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Customer Quality, Warranty Management, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong track record of leading large-scale quality transformation initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and influencing senior leadership.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to build a culture focused on quality, accountability, and operational excellence..
