The Procurement Head based out of Bangalore will manage procurement processes and make sure the supply chain runs smoothly across all product categories. You'll handle vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee purchasing strategies
  • 8-12 years of procurement experience across consumer durables & appliances
  • Proven track record of cost optimization and vendor management

Job Description

  • Manage procurement operations and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts to get the best value for the organisation
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet business goals
  • Analyse market trends and supplier performance to make informed decisions
  • Work closely with other departments to forecast procurement needs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in procurement or supply chain management in the manufacturing industry
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships
  • Knowledge of inventory management and purchasing processes
  • Confidence working with budgets and cost-saving strategies
  • Analytical skills to assess market trends and supplier performance
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools is a plus
