Job Description

  • Define and own the technical vision, architecture, and multi-year roadmap for the company's platform ecosystem.
  • Establish architectural principles, standards, and governance across platform components to ensure scalability, reusability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Own key platform success metrics including productivity gains, adoption of platform capabilities, time-to-value, reliability, and engineering leverage.
  • Lead research-to-production execution, ensuring ML and AI innovations are effectively translated into scalable platform capabilities.
  • Oversee platform performance, observability, reliability, infrastructure optimisation, and inference economics at enterprise scale.

The Successful Applicant

  • 15+ years of experience leading platform engineering, infrastructure, building large-scale systems, or large-scale distributed software organisations.
  • Strong technical depth across enterprise integration platforms, knowledge systems, distributed architectures, and production ML environments.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling engineering teams, including managing senior engineering managers and technical leaders.
  • Track record building developer-facing platforms, APIs, SDKs, or infrastructure adopted across large engineering organisations.
  • Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to engage CIOs, CTOs, boards, investors, and senior customer stakeholders.
