The role involves evaluating and executing investments across unlisted, pre-IPO, and secondary market opportunities through rigorous research, financial analysis, and due diligence. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to source deals, build investment theses, support transaction execution, and monitor portfolio performance.

Job Description

Evaluate investment opportunities across unlisted, pre-IPO, and secondary market transactions.

Source and screen potential investment opportunities through industry relationships and market networks.

Build detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment frameworks.

Conduct commercial, financial, operational, and legal due diligence.

Perform primary research through interactions with management teams, customers, distributors, suppliers, competitors, and industry experts.

Prepare investment committee presentations, investment memorandums, and recommendation reports.

Analyze transaction structures, shareholder agreements, capitalization tables, and investor rights.

Assist in negotiating commercial and transaction terms with stakeholders.

Track portfolio company performance and prepare periodic monitoring reports.

Develop sector-specific insights and identify emerging investment themes.

Build relationships with founders, intermediaries, investors, and industry participants.

Coordinate with external advisors, legal counsel, auditors, and diligence providers.

Maintain investment databases, market intelligence, and research repositories.

Support exit evaluation and portfolio liquidity events.

Contribute to the development and expansion of the private markets investment strategy.

The Successful Applicant

6+ years in private equity, investment banking, family offices, or unlisted equity platforms (Must have experience of closing deals from end to end)

You're a generalist - You've worked across sectors and enjoy learning new industries from scratch.

CA/CFA are preferred

You are good with excel and financial modelling - and have ability to work with large database

Should be open to relocate to Delhi
