Our client is a leading brand in Home Furnishings category with Retail presence, with a strong manufacturing backbone.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be leading the end-to-end operations function across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, planning, quality, and project execution. Responsible for:

  • Driving manufacturing performance across multiple facilities, ensuring delivery of productivity, quality, cost and customer service objectives
  • Leading sourcing, procurement and supply chain strategies across domestic and import sourcing categories
  • Optimising inventory, logistics and working capital performance while improving supply chain resilience
  • Driving operational excellence initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Establishing robust Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and demand-driven production planning capabilities.
  • Leading greenfield and capacity expansion projects including planning, commissioning, governance and budget management
  • Partnering closely with commercial, retail, product development and finance teams to improve customer outcomes and operational efficiency

The Successful Applicant

An ideal candidate will have 20+ years of:

  • Proven leadership experience across manufacturing,sourcing & procurement, planning and quality functions
  • Experience working within highly process-driven manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to automotive, consumer durables, furniture, lifestyle or premium product industries will be highly preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance quality, service, productivity and profitability objectives.
  • Outstanding people leadership skills with experience managing large and diverse workforce
