Job Description

  • Strategy & Planning: Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly sales strategies to drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability across all offline channels.
  • Distribution Management: Design and optimize the distribution architecture, including appointing, managing, and maintaining strong relationships with super‑stockists and distributors.
  • Retail Expansion & Penetration (General Trade): Drive expansion into new territories and increase SKU penetration in existing retail outlets across General Trade.
  • Modern Trade & Gifting Channel: Oversee Key Account Management for Modern Trade partners and scale the institutional and corporate gifting vertical to drive incremental revenue.
  • Trade Marketing & Visibility: Collaborate with marketing teams to execute on‑ground activations, merchandising, and in‑store visibility initiatives to strengthen brand presence.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a regional sales team, fostering a high‑performance culture focused on achieving targets and ensuring compliance.
  • Commercials & Forecasting: Monitor and safeguard the cash cycle, manage credit limits, and provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends to rapidly adapt sales and distribution strategies.



The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of experience in FMCG / Food / Organic category, with at least 4-5 years in a senior leadership role leading national or regional teams
  • Strong exposure to Modern Trade and distributor-led General Trade model
  • Deep understanding of FMCG distribution, retail dynamics, and supply chain processes
  • Existing network within Modern Trade chains and regional distributors preferred
  • Proven track record of scaling revenue in premium / health / organic brands
  • Experience managing a ₹100+ Cr portfolio preferred
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial acumen
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
