Job Description

  • Provide strategic legal advice to support business objectives in the logistics industry.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations specific to freight operations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and legal documents.
  • Manage and mitigate legal risks, offering solutions to complex challenges.
  • Oversee dispute resolution and litigation processes as required.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address legal concerns effectively.
  • Supervise corporate governance and ensure adherence to internal policies.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes impacting the transport and distribution sector

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Professional legal qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Atleast 15 years of experience
  • Strong expertise in corporate and commercial law, particularly in the industry.
  • Proven ability to manage legal risks and provide strategic advisory services.
  • Experience in handling regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Excellent skills in contract negotiation and drafting.
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
