Job Description

Strategic Product Leadership: Prioritize and implement new features across the digital platform by assessing strategic fit, business impact, and speed-to-market.

Innovation Scouting: Stay at the forefront of digital commerce trends to identify and scale innovative use-cases that drive growth within the retail landscape.

Lifecycle Management: Define and evolve the platform roadmap, overseeing everything from strategic planning and design to tactical execution and security.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for technology, partnering with internal teams and external vendors to meet consumer needs.

End-to-End Delivery: Manage the full product lifecycle, including conceptualization, development, QA, and post-launch support for all new features.

Systems Integration: Design and execute complex integrations between the core digital platform and third-party applications to meet business objectives.

Growth Engineering: Identify emerging opportunities in the e-commerce landscape and leverage consumer technology to drive profitable business goals.

Long-Term Tech Strategy: Architect and execute technology strategies for medium- and long-term scaling.

Team Mentorship: Lead and mentor technical teams to ensure peak performance and excellence across the technology stack.

The Successful Applicant

Extensive Digital Commerce Leadership: Over 10-12 years of experience, with a heavy focus (8-10 years) on building and implementing high-scale digital commerce platforms, specifically within the Shopify/Shopify+ ecosystem.

Omni-channel Expertise: Proven track record of architecting seamless customer journeys across retail and digital touchpoints using industry best practices.

Complex Systems Integration: Deep experience connecting commerce platforms with critical backend infrastructure, including WMS, OMS, ERP, and POS systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, Unicommerce).

Advanced Tech Stack Management: Proficiency in managing middleware integration platforms (Node.js, .NET) and a strong grasp of E-commerce security, data privacy, and fraud prevention.

Mar-Tech & Ad-Tech Proficiency: Expert understanding of the modern marketing stack, including CDPs, first-party data strategies, attribution models, and programmatic advertising (DSPs/Ad Exchanges).

Data-Driven Growth: Ability to leverage business intelligence and analytics to personalize user experiences, optimize product recommendations, and drive measurable revenue growth.

Strategic Business Acumen: A customer-centric leader who can align complex technology roadmaps with overarching business profitability and long-term corporate goals.

Agile Team Leadership: Experience leading diverse technical teams (developers, QA, analysts) using agile methodologies to ensure rapid, high-quality delivery.

Stakeholder Communication: Skilled at translating complex technical concepts for executive leadership and collaborating across Finance, Operations, and Marketing functions.
