The Indirect Procurement Head in Bangalore will oversee infrastructure, MEP, audits to ensure efficient procurement processes within the quick commerce industry. This leader will manage large indirect spends, build and coach a high-performing procurement team, and work closely with operations, finance, supply chain, and audit teams to ensure strong governance and value creation
  • 10+ years in Indirect Procurement, preferably in e-commerce & quick commerce
  • Exposure to dark stores, warehouses, and retail expansion

Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs effectively
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring quality and timely delivery of goods
  • Conduct market research to identify cost-effective and reliable suppliers
  • Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with legal and company standards
  • Monitor and evaluate audits & purchases to ensure alignment with company goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and manage budgets
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of procurement activities
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement within the supply chain

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships effectively
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools, understanding of audits & purchases
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A results-oriented approach with a focus on achieving operational efficiency
