Our client is a rapidly growing listed manufacturing organization driving large-scale expansion in India. With multiple advanced manufacturing facilities and a strong focus on sustainability, the company is looking to establish ESG as a strategic business function while strengthening its health, safety, and environmental culture.

Job Description

  • Lead the organization's HSE and ESG strategy, governance, and transformation roadmap across multiple manufacturing sites as a corporate asset.
  • Build the ESG function from the ground up, including sustainability strategy, governance frameworks, KPIs, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Drive HSE excellence through enterprise-wide safety programs, risk management, audits, regulatory compliance, and a Zero Harm culture.
  • Lead ESG reporting, BRSR Core compliance, sustainability disclosures, dashboards, and performance analytics.
  • Drive environmental initiatives including decarbonization, energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and green manufacturing.
  • Partner with leadership, operations, HR, procurement, finance, and external stakeholders to embed ESG principles across the business.



The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably supported by a postgraduate qualification in Industrial Safety, HSE, Sustainability, Environmental Management, or an MBA, and 15+ years of experience in HSE and ESG leadership within large manufacturing organizations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and implementing ESG frameworks, driving sustainability initiatives, HSE governance, BRSR reporting, and regulatory compliance, while leading cross-functional transformation programs. Experience in renewable energy/solar, automotive OEMs & Tier 1, precision manufacturing, industrial automation/electrical, or process industries such as paints, cement, and chemicals will be highly preferred.
The candidate should be comfortable working alternate saturdays
