This role leads end-to-end import-export operations with a strong focus on customs compliance and regulatory adherence. It also oversees logistics planning, warehouse coordination, and commercial documentation across business units. Reporting to the CFO, the position combines operational execution with financial and compliance oversight in a manufacturing setup.

Job Description

  • Lead import-export operations and ensure full customs and DGFT compliance
  • Manage export incentives including RODTEP, duty drawback, and EOU processes
  • Coordinate with CHA, shipping lines, and freight forwarders
  • Oversee logistics planning and warehouse operations across locations
  • Validate commercial documentation including invoices, LC terms, and shipping documents
  • Drive coordination with internal stakeholders for shipment readiness
  • Manage outsourced resources supporting customs clearance and documentation
  • Liaise with government authorities and external partners for compliance

The Successful Applicant

  • 15-20 years of experience in EXIM, logistics, or commercial operations
  • Strong expertise in customs regulations, DGFT norms, and export documentation
  • Hands-on experience with RODTEP, EOU/FTWZ, and duty drawback
  • Exposure to logistics planning and warehouse coordination
  • Strong understanding of LC documentation and commercial processes
  • Experience managing CHA and freight partners
  • Manufacturing or industrial background preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
