Job Description

Reporting to the head of operations you will:

  • Lead and coordinate a multi-disciplinary engineering organisation.
  • Take overall accountability for the correctness, completeness and timely delivery of engineering deliverables.
  • Direct, advise, monitor and control individual engineering discipline teams.
  • Coordinate with multiple design engineering consultants, OEMs, technology suppliers and EPC/project partners.
  • Ensure robust engineering processes, design reviews, completeness checks and approval mechanisms are established.
  • Review engineering deliverables at a leadership/sanity-check level and ensure appropriate technical governance rather than independently approving every engineering package.
  • Support finalisation of technical specifications and evaluation of engineering/technical solutions.
  • Ensure engineering outputs are aligned with construction requirements and delivered within project timelines.
  • Provide leadership and intervention wherever engineering packages, interfaces or deliverables are delayed or technically challenged.
  • Contribute to technology/equipment selection, constructability, material flow, cost effectiveness and optimisation of engineering solutions.
