Job Description

  • Lead the overall engineering organization focused on Steam Turbine Generator products and systems.
  • Manage and develop a highly technical team of over 120 engineers across multiple disciplines.
  • Drive product, project, and lifecycle engineering initiatives while ensuring quality and delivery excellence.
  • Build organizational capability through leadership development, succession planning, and talent management.
  • Collaborate closely with global engineering teams, manufacturing facilities, and service organizations.
  • Champion engineering best practices, process improvements, and innovation programs.
  • Support digital engineering initiatives including automation, model-based engineering, and digital twin adoption.
  • Ensure alignment of engineering strategies with business objectives, customer requirements, and operational goals.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory); advanced technical qualifications preferred.
  • 15-25 years of overall experience within power generation, steam turbine, or rotating equipment engineering environments.
  • 5-10 years of engineering leadership experience at Director, Head, or General Manager level.
  • Deep technical expertise in Steam Turbines, Generators, BTG systems, or related turbomachinery products.
  • Proven track record of leading large engineering teams (100+ professionals).
  • Experience within global OEMs, engineering centers, or matrix organizations.
  • Strong exposure to product engineering, project engineering, and lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with digital engineering tools and concepts such as Digital Twins, Engineering Automation, and Model-Based Engineering.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across global leadership, manufacturing, service, and engineering functions.
