Job Description

Reporting into senior leadership, the Deptuy General Manager/General Manager - Projects will be responsible for leading end-to-end execution of large-scale warehouse automation projects, ensuring seamless installation and commissioning across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle from planning to installation, commissioning, and final handover
  • Drive execution of large-scale automation deployments including AS/RS, robotics, sortation systems, and material handling solutions
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure delivery excellence
  • Manage cross-functional teams spanning engineering, site execution, and customer stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and global engineering standards
  • Collaborate with internal technology, WMS, and design teams for integrated solution delivery
  • Act as the key escalation point for project risks, delays, and client expectations
  • Build and mentor high-performing project and site execution teams



The Successful Applicant

  • 18+ years of experience in warehouse automation / intralogistics / material handling domain
  • Proven expertise in installation & commissioning of large automation projects (mandatory)
  • Strong exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP EWM, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, etc.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing large, complex multi-site deployments
  • Experience working with leading automation/system integration companies
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Engineering background preferred (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial)
