Job Description

Designation: GM Marketing

Reports to: Managing Director

Location: Gurgaon

Team Size: 3 Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish Marketing Strategy

  • Plan, develop and direct marketing efforts for the brand and it's products
  • Create strategies to take advantage of market opportunities
  • Assist integration of campaigns with brand consistency
  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities
  • Develop brand standards and usage guidelines
  • Work crossfunctionally with finance, marketing and leadership teams to prepare the Marketing Plan and lead Budgeting and Forecasting activities on a yearly, quarterly and monthly basis



Product Management

  • Analyze sales data to update the brand and category portfolio, determine new products and boost underperforming products
  • Manage product portfolio, as well as defining the positioning strategies for those products
  • Forecast initial launching quantity of new product through analysing local marketability and performance of existing similar products



Establish Promotion Strategy of Product

  • Develop localized marketing communication and branding
  • Select product and category for local promotion through market analysis



Conduct Market Research/intelligence

  • Track consumer and market insights by reviewing metrics such as sales volume, market share, profit projections, pricing and distribution, and by conducting consumer research
  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
  • Evaluate and deliver local opinion when developing new products (concept, contents, product name, etc.)



Brand Stewardship & Content Governance

  • Supervise brand content
  • Manage access to brand assets

The Successful Applicant

  • 10-15 years of experience in a global beauty/luxury organsiation with progressive experience in brand building and marketing with strong PNL exposure.
  • Hands-on portfolio management experience in adding new products and optimizing category mix by leveraging market trends, financial data and competitive intelligence data.
  • A deep understanding of the customer needs and trends within the Beauty, Skincare and Personal Care segment
  • Strong result-orientation and ability to execute and measure programs and campaigns
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
