About Our Client

Job Description

  • Own the group's governance, risk and compliance framework.
  • Maintain a complete compliance calendar for both companies.
  • Ensure all statutory registrations, licences and renewals are valid.
  • Track factory, labour, contractor, EHS, fire, local authority and project-site compliance.
  • Create a central compliance dashboard with owners, due dates and closure status.
  • Conduct periodic internal compliance audits across plant, projects and offices.
  • Identify compliance gaps and ensure timely corrective action.
  • Own the enterprise risk register and quarterly risk review.
  • Assess operational, contractual, safety, financial, people and reputational risks.
  • Define risk mitigation plans, owners and escalation thresholds.
  • Design and maintain the insurance programme for plant, inventory, transit, projects, employees, public liability and equipment.
  • Ensure adequacy of insurance cover, policy renewals and claims coordination.
  • Work with the retained corporate lawyer on contracts, disputes, notices and legal exposure.
  • Set legal review and approval thresholds for customer, vendor and subcontractor agreements.
  • Ensure standard legal templates are used and deviations are properly approved.
  • Oversee the Legal & Contracts Coordinator, including document control, obligation tracking and contract repository.
  • Track contractual obligations, insurance certificates, warranties, retention and key notices.
  • Maintain a register of litigation, disputes, claims, regulatory notices and legal spend.
  • Create and update group policies: delegation of authority, ethics, anti-bribery, conflicts of interest, whistle-blower, data/confidentiality and document retention.
  • Ensure vendor and subcontractor due diligence, compliance documents and agreement validity.
  • Run compliance training for managers, plant teams and project teams.
  • Present a monthly dashboard to the CEO/Board: compliance status, open risks, insurance, claims, disputes and critical actions.
  • Support customer, lender, investor and due-diligence requests with accurate records.
  • Build a culture where high-risk issues are escalated early, documented properly and closed fully.

  • Industry - Manufacturing or service
  • Works across different functions - Specifically with business verticle.
