About Our Client

Our client is major steel player which is a leader in green TMT. They have their main plant in Chennai outskirts, and expanding their operations

Job Description

  • Complete ownership of SMS (Steel Melt Shop) and Foundry operations
  • Lead end-to-end SMS and foundry operations.
  • Decide raw material mix and metallurgical composition.
  • Ensure billet quality and production efficiency.
  • Lead plant teams and coordinate with downstream operations.
  • Drive process improvements aligned with business requirement

The Successful Applicant

  • BE/BTech, preferably in Metallurgical Engineering.
  • 12+ years leading Steel Melt Shop operations.
  • Experience with large induction furnaces (20 MT+).
  • Strong exposure to scrap-based TMT manufacturing.
  • Experience managing metallurgical controls and billet quality.
