About Our Client

Our client is an emerging, technology-led investment banking platform focused on delivering IPO, pre-IPO fundraising, M&A, and strategic advisory solutions to mid-market businesses.

Job Description

  • Develop promoter, founder and CFO relationships, identifying companies with credible IPO or pre-IPO potential.
  • Shape sector coverage, choose priority relationships and personally lead pitches, fee negotiations and mandate conversion.
  • Agree to mandate acceptance, commercial terms and delivery commitments with the founders and execution team.
  • Work with execution and distribution colleagues through completion, maintaining client relationships and developing repeat business.
  • Bring evidence from client conversations, won and lost pitches, and unsuitable opportunities into how we evaluate companies and build our systems
  • Location: Mumbai/ Bengaluru or Delhi (as per your preference)

The Successful Applicant

8+ years of relevant experience and a record of personally sourcing and winning mandates.

You know promoters, understand their businesses and can earn their trust. You prepare deeply, move quickly, travel extensively and stay engaged through long decision cycles.

You can defend fees, decline unsuitable business and take responsibility for a revenue number.

We want someone who wants to build: a client franchise, stronger sector coverage and an institution capable of serving companies across markets.
