Our client is an early-stage consumer AI startup based in Bengaluru, building an AI-powered concierge and personal assistant for modern Indian professionals. Operating at the intersection of AI agents, workflow automation, and consumer productivity, the company is helping users seamlessly delegate and manage everyday tasks through chat-first experiences.

The AI concierge and personal assistance category is rapidly evolving globally, driven by advances in generative AI and changing consumer behaviour. The company is among the early players in India building for this space at scale, backed by leading investors including Entrepreneurs First and Nexus Venture Partners, with ~$2.5M raised in pre-seed funding.

Job Description

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate them into the technology roadmap.Build and deploy AI-powered workflows and agentic systems
  • Develop scalable backend services and LLM-based applications
  • Work on orchestration, prompt engineering, memory, and automation layers
  • Design integrations across APIs, internal tooling, and consumer workflows
  • Optimize model performance, latency, and reliability in production
  • Collaborate closely with founders, operations, and product teams
  • Experiment rapidly and ship features in a high-ownership environment
  • Contribute to the long-term AI and product architecture roadmap

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-4 years of experience in AI/ML, backend engineering, or applied AI
  • Strong experience with Python and modern AI frameworks
  • Hands-on exposure to LLMs, agents, RAG pipelines, or workflow automation
  • Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience working in fast-paced startup environments is preferred
  • Strong product thinking with the ability to solve ambiguous problems
  • High ownership mindset with strong communication and execution skills
  • Bonus: experience with consumer products, AI copilots, or conversational systems
