Finance Controller to lead the finance controllership function and serve as a trusted business partner to senior leadership. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will oversee financial reporting, compliance, controls, and process improvements while supporting business growth through financial insights.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end finance controllership, including accounting, reporting, compliance, and governance.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Drive statutory, internal, and tax audits while strengthening internal controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Partner with the CFO and business leaders on budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and financial performance tracking.
  • Deliver business insights through variance analysis, financial modeling, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities across finance operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making and business growth.

The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Qualified CA (or equivalent) with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong experience across financial reporting, accounting, controllership, compliance, and audit management.
  • Prior exposure to consulting environments and/or service-based businesses is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting standards, financial controls, taxation, and audit processes.
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated professional with attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
