Job Description

  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant standards.
  • Oversee cash flow management and ensure optimal utilization of funds.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Collaborate with department heads to analyze financial data and drive cost efficiencies.
  • Ensure timely compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Support senior management in strategic decision-making through financial insights.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Controller should have:

  • Qualified CA with minimum 10-12 years of experience and from a listed consumer / pharmaceutical LISTED organisation (MANDATORY)
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and forecasting tools.
  • Experience in the FMCG industry, preferably within cosmetics or toiletries.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
